Zuddl Sweeped in $13.35M in a recent Series A funding round

Covid-19 hit 2020.

Almost all the industries progressed towards the internet way.

Events that were held on a large scale were now being organised virtually.

Here’s when Zuddl entered and paved their way.

Vedha Sayyaparaju & Bharath Verma started Zuddl in the May of 2020.

They aimed to build an events platform that is easy to use & 100% customizable.

What they do?

At Zuddl, they’re building out a library of templates for you to customize your conferences.

You can build off of existing templates and get your event up & running within minutes.

Discussion tables facilitate organic group networking with easy switching between different tables. The expo zone can be used to showcase partner and sponsor booths.

The backstage zone helps you run dry runs to ensure smooth event execution.

With Zuddl, you can create fully branded conferences with engaging experiences.

Growth & Stats

In the last 18 months, Zuddl has collaborated with the likes of Kellogg’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Microsoft, NASSCOM and over 15 Fortune 500 companies.

Since its inception, the company has grown 30X and has conducted over 200 events.

The team of 10 has now expanded to 75+ across the globe.

about 65% of their revenue. The average deal size in the last four months has been about $40,000 as per their official press release.

Funding & Investors

Zuddl recently raised $13.35M in a Series A funding round.

The round was led by : Alpha Wave Incubation (AWI), which is backed by DisruptAD, ADQ’s venture platform, and managed by Falcon Edge Capital, and Qualcomm Ventures LLC.

It also saw participation from existing investors GrowX and Waveform Ventures.

Born in the Pandemic, Zuddl will use the recent funding to accelerate product development and scale globally, with a particular focus on the US market.

The company aspires to dominate the online events space, focusing on the US as its primary market, it “will not lose focus on India.”

With virtual events taking the lead, we hope Zuddl keeps on growing every year!
