Founded in 2016 by Puneet Gupta, Clensta started with the flagship products based on Waterless Technology.
The company aims to reduce the ever-increasing problem of water shortage.
They are a team of IIT, IIM and SRCC grads and believe in novel ideas and smart execution.
Their vision is to provide every Indian affordable basic level of sanitisation & hygiene.

Clensta also operates both in the B2B and B2B2C segments.
The company is currently targeting the $6.2B Indian Home Care market.
-It has over 30 products in its portfolio.
-The growth has been 4X since last fiscal.
-The firm has achieved a CAGR of over 130% and aims to earn -Rs 1,000 crore revenues in the next 5 years.
In Sep 2021, the company also partnered with Cipla for marketing and distributing their products based on waterless technology.
Funding & Investors
Clensta has raised a total of $3.3M in funding over 4 rounds.
Their latest funding was raised on Dec 9, 2021 in a Series A round.
The round was led by Venture Catalysts and Inflection Point Ventures.
It also saw participation from Hem Angels, part of Hem Securities Limited, N+1 Capital (RBF), the existing investors.
In total, Clensta is funded by 12 investors:
Venture Catalysts, Inflection Point Ventures, IAN Fund, N+1 Capital
and Indian Angel Network being the lead ones.
